Orleans' coat of arms
modifierBonjour! =)
At Template:French Royal Family (Orléanist), why don't you use the coat of arms with a label, which was characteristc of the Orleans family?
You may answer me here. Cheers. Tonyjeff (d) 18 janvier 2011 à 23:30 (CET)
- boa noite !

- The the coat of arms with a label, usualy name Orleans' coat of arms in heraldry is the historic coat of arms of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th houses of Orléans, who where branches of the Royal House of France. King Louis-Philippe was Duke of Orleans when he came at throne of the French (not "of France") in 1830 to 1848. His grandson the Count of Paris was his heir but renounced to claim this throne for the old Legitime Throne of France. For the Orleanist, since 1883, he was the legitime claimant of the Kingdom of France, and so his arms where the France Coat of Arms. The Royal Family of Orleans, today, is always claiming the legitime throne of France, and in their family, the Orleans' coat of Arms is only beared by the actual Duke of Orleans (brother of Duke of France), and his sons and grandson, and not by the actuel Count of Paris Duke of France (Henri VII, birth 1933), his sons and grandsons. So, the using of the France Coat of Arms in the Template for this Royal Family is the true way of this Family heraldic bearing. Best regards, Fitzwarin (d) 18 janvier 2011 à 23:51 (CET)
