Hello I have completed the initial setup of Adiutor. Moving forward, it is necessary to adapt the pages and templates used in your local wiki. Additionally, it would be of great importance for you to perform translations in the language file found at this link. Since I am not familiar with your procedures and the pages where these procedures are carried out, I haven't made any changes to them. If you are familiar with the procedures on Turkish Wikipedia, you can make the necessary adjustments to templates and links. Please feel free to ask if you need any assistance. The added MediaWiki files are listed below.

To enable gadget

Preferences→ Gadgets → Maintenance →Adiutor

Author note

For now, all modules have been tested and are working properly. Please take a moment to translate the interface language of the gadget into your own language. There are also some translations that I used for testing purposes, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could review them. Additionally, kindly edit the templates in the article tagging module and modify common edit summaries in the edit summaries helper module. Also, please make necessary adaptations to the article for deletion module. You are now ready to start using the tool. Best wishes!

@Vikipolimer: on the window "My work", the "edit" button redirects me on our wiki main page (it does that anyway, with or without pinned pages); i think it's a bug. — Jules* ^discuter 2 septembre 2023 à 17:42 (CEST)

A few other bugs (I guess), sorry, @Vikipolimer:

• The "last changes" button, on any page, does nothing;
• On an user page, the "warn" button does nother;
• On the "article info" window, clicking the rounded "i" icon opens a pop-up window: on this one, clicking on "More information" button does noting.
• The main rounded "i" icon, on main toolboard, opens a full window with some stats, but it is not displayed correctly: the content is enclosed in a 1 cm of height frame, on the top of the page. I'm on Windows, Firefox 117.0, with Vector 2022, if that helps.

Very clean tool anyway! A question: how to access the batch deletion feature? And a suggestion: beeing able to deactivate some of the tools (for example, for sysops, all report tools, as we don't need them).

We may want to place the discussions about the module itself at a dedicated location, as it's not really suitable here. Pour les aspects communs à toutes les langues, la page meta est plus indiquée, mais pour tout ce qui est adaptation à notre wiki (j'ai déjà commencé à la marge), la pdd est locale est préférable. Either we delete from MediaWiki:Gadget-Adiutor-TAG.js#L-121 or we check the syntax to get something like {{Problèmes multiples| admissibilité=oui | traduction = oui }} ;

Important update!

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm excited to share a significant update with you. Previously, Adiutor settings were stored globally under a single user option. However, we've made a significant improvement – now each wiki has its own settings and language preferences.

Here's what this update means for you: If you have Adiutor active on a particular wiki and your display language is set to French, you'll see Adiutor in French on that wiki. Moreover, your settings files are now specifically generated for each wiki.

In light of these changes, I've made some updates, which you can review on the following GitHub commit. If you have any specific requests for changes or need assistance with anything related to this update, please feel free to reach out. I'm here to help!

I would also suggest using either 'Gadget-Adiutor-i18.json' or 'i18n/en.json', since both are in English, instead of maintaining the English array in 'MediaWiki:Gadget-Adiutor-i18.json' for each wiki.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but Mediawiki:Gadget-Adiutor.js could potentially retrieve the current version of Adiutor using the API on its element. To achieve this, it should first uses Property:P348, similar to the approach used in AutoWikiBrowser's element. This will prevent the need to edit dozens of configurations with each new version, which would be much more convenient . LD (d) 6 septembre 2023 à 04:49 (CEST)
